Dumont ranked #193 in LendEDU’s new report ranking the best towns in New Jersey to find a deli.

LendEDU is based in Hoboken, New Jersey, and we realize how important it is to be surrounded by good delis. We thought it would be a cool idea to rank New Jersey towns according to how many delis they had per person, so we did it. And, Dumont cracked the top 250!

Using licensed data, LendEDU was able to find the exact number of delis and sandwich shops that existed in every town in New Jersey. We divided that number by the population of the town and the resulting number was LendEDU’s Deli Density Index.

The full report and methodology can be found here: https://lendedu.com/blog/ranking-new-jersey-towns-deli-density-index/

I encourage you to share Dumont’s recognition with the community through your website and social media. I have a feeling fellow New Jerseyans are going to take some pride in this.

PSE&G customers still have time to apply for LIHEAP to receive:

  • Heating benefits
  • Medically-necessary cooling benefits
  • Additional financial assistance of up to $450 in LIHEAP Emergency Assistance (for residential electric and gas heating customers who have already applied for, or received, LIHEAP benefits and are struggling to pay winter heating bills.)  For LIHEAP Emergency Assistance, customers must have a shut-off notice on their PSE&G account.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is taking applications until May 31, 2017.  In addition to financial assistance towards winter heating and medically necessary cooling bills, LIHEAP also screens program applicants for another payment assistance program, the Universal Service Fund (USF), which provides low income households with a monthly credit of $5 to $150.  There are also payment assistance programs for clients who are not low income, but have fallen behind on their energy bills.

Attached is a quick reference guide on all programs, as well as a LIHEAP application.
