The November meeting of the Dumont Recreation Commission will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 7:00pm at Dumont Borough Hall, 3rd Floor conference room.  Please wear a mask.

The Recreation Commission meeting tonight, 10/25/21, is canceled.

Public Notice: The Governing Body of the Borough of Dumont will hold their October 26, 2021 meeting in the 3rd Floor Council Chambers at the Dumont Municipal Complex located at 50 Washington Avenue.  Closed Session will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the public portion of the meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Formal action may be taken.

The Board of Recreation Commissioners of the Borough of Dumont will be having a special meeting on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 7:00pm.  The meeting will be be held at the Dumont Borough Hall, 50 Washington Ave., Dumont, NJ 07628.

The only item on the agenda is the current status of a Recreation Commissioner.  There will be a public portion of the meeting.  Formal action may be taken.

The Borough of Dumont will extend overnight parking.

ALL ROADS MUST be cleared if snow-covered.

We are respectfully asking residents to remain mindful that heavy leaf season is upon us.  If you are parked in the street overnight, DO NOT park on top or too close to leave piles.  Please be cognizant that our DPW needs to come through with large trucks and machinery to collect the leaves.  If vehicles are parked on top or too close to piles, it may result in leaves not being picked up.  We kindly ask that if you do not need to park in the street, please save the spaces for those who need it.  Doing this will help our DPW with the collection and our neighbors.

The Borough of Dumont will be hosting our annual shredding event on Saturday, October 30th from 9am-1pm at the Dumont DPW, located at 1 Aladdin Avenue.

The Borough of Dumont will be accepting tow applications during the last 2 weeks of October and received no later than October 29, 2021.  Applications should be dropped off at the Dumont Borough Clerk's Office, Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am - 4 pm.

Bid packets will be received for the Grant Avenue Improvement Project and Grant Avenue Improvement Phase II until 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Dumont Borough Hall, 50 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ 07628.  For more information, please refer to the attached link.

Public Notice: There are no outstanding or timely agenda items for the October 12^th Mayor and Council meeting. Therefore, in the interest of efficiency and conservation of Borough funds, there will be no meeting on Tuesday, October 12th, and the agenda will be consolidated with our October 26^th meeting.
