The Gina's Field Splash Park will be closed until further notice while mechanical issue is being repaired.

Bergen County Mosquito Control will be performing an early morning ULV Truck Spray in Dumont on Thursday, July 20, 2023 between the hours of 3:30 am - 6:00 am.  Please keep your windows closed during these times.  In the event that it rains, the spray will be postponed to Saturday, July 22, 2023.  Linked below are fact sheets on the materials being used.

The July meeting of the Arts, Beautification and Economic Development Committee will take place on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 7:30 pm in the 3rd floor conference room at Dumont Borough Hall, 50 Washington Ave.  Agenda linked below.

The Borough of Dumont is looking for a Part-Time Social Services Assistant that will be responsible for the organization, dating, and distribution of food pantry items and the overseeing of volunteers.  Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. and be able to climb a ladder.  Computer skills are a plus.  Candidates must be available starting on July 31, 2023; be able to work morning and/or afternoon hours; and work a total of 10-20 hrs./week.  Interested candidates should submit a resume or application to Jeanine Siek, Interim Borough Administrator/Clerk, via e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots.
