The temporary suspension of the overnight parking ordinance has ended and overnight parking restrictions are now being enforced. No vehicle may be parked on any borough roadway between the hours of 2am and 6am. 

Requests for permission due to guests/construction may be made to the Dumont Police Department on a nightly basis by calling 201-387-5000.

Requests may not be granted due to pending inclement weather or excessive requests. We appreciate your cooperation as we transition back to overnight parking restrictions.

Dumont Borough Hall will be closing at 1:30 pm today, Thursday, November 24th, and Friday, November 25th in observance of Thanksgiving. The Borough's scheduled garbage collection will STILL be picked up on Friday, November 25th. We wish you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Public Notice: The Governing Body of the Borough of Dumont will hold their November 21, 2022 meeting in the 3rd Floor Council Chambers at the Dumont Municipal Complex located at 50 Washington Avenue. Closed Session will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the public portion of the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
