The Borough of Dumont is seeking a Full Time Payroll Clerk to work under the direction of the Borough Administrator.  Applicants must have excellent communication, clerical, organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.  Duties include but are not limited to: processing payroll, health benefits administration, employee onboarding, pension reporting, deferred compensation plans, garnishments, accruals and various adhoc reporting.  One year of Municipal payroll experience or two years of finance/accounting experience is preferred.  Applicant must have strong math and analytical skills.  Position will include other related duties including backup to general accounting data input.  For consideration, please submit a letter of interest and resume by May 16th, 2022 to Karen Glass at This email address is being protected from spambots.
