Open Position- Department of Public Works- Laborer

The BOROUGH OF DUMONT is seeking full time Truck Driver/Laborers for the Department of Public Works.  Applicants interested must be willing and able to perform assigned duties in varying conditions both indoors and outdoors.  This position is a physically demanding job.

Prior experience in landscaping, building maintenance, construction, roadwork, building trades, painting, etc. are sought skills in this position.  Valid class B, airbrake commercial drivers preferred. Non-CDL applicants will have one year to obtain a NJ CDL with tanker endorsement. Additional consideration for candidates that are Firefighter 1 certified or are willing to obtain that certification.
