Mayor's Message - June 2016

Dumont Mayor James KellyIt is with great excitement that we unveil our new website to you.

We think you'll like the new look, and we're sure you'll like the improved navigation and fresher information. Aside from an updated look, the new website features a Home page with all the most recent events and news. Dropdown menus include information about Dumont, demographics, history and much more (even a google map to give you directions!). Other dropdown menus easily guide you to the information you may be looking for. There's one for the Governing Body that includes Committee Assignments, Meeting Schedule, Agendas, Minutes, Resolutions, Ordinances and the Borough Code. The lists of Borough Departments and Boards allow the user to access the specific information they need. The expanded Calendar gives all the important dates in the Borough for everything from the various Council and Board meetings, to garbage and recycling collection. The website has links to other Dumont sites as well as Facebook and Twitter. Downloading information is easily accessible throughout the website.

I would like to thank Virtual Town Pages for getting our website up and running again in such a quick and efficient manner. We are always open to ideas for an efficient and informative website; so please contact me and we'll consider any suggested improvements.

Thank you,

Mayor Jim Kelly
